Llano (Texas) Elementary Mathematical Learning Systems (MLS) Facilitator Janet Hackworth is excited to share the successes of one of her MLS students, second-grader Jodie Hinson.
Jodie has shown tremendous progress in my lab this year. Every day, she applies herself to her lesson and tries to make the best grade possible.
Jami Keele, Jodie’s classroom teacher, commented that she “is very proud of how hard Jodie has worked this year. As Jodie started experiencing success, she became eager to learn and to grasp new concepts. She has a spunky little personality and loves to visit with all. I know she will do great things next year in the third grade, and I have enjoyed having her in my class this year! I’m very proud of all the progress Jodie has made and how hard she has worked! I know she will continue to do a fantastic job!”
Jodie has achieved 90% in Performance Participation in CEI math lab. She has a 45% increase in her Pre- and Post-Test averages. This was Jodie’s first year in the lab, and she has completed 60 lessons. She is currently working in Subtraction with Triple Digits. Jodie also mastered 59 fluency facts. I am very proud of how hard she has worked in my lab this year!
We’re proud of you, too, Jodie!
