Briarwood School’s Rebecca Lowe is a self-motivated student with high goals. “She has been challenged in every task set forth by the CEI Reading lab,” says Lab Facilitator Leiann Darnell. “She has persevered toward a successful outcome. With each lesson, she has a better understanding of what she expects from herself and, with help, how to achieve her reading expectations. Who’s Who in CEI? Rebecca Lowe ... that’s Who! My hat goes off to you, Rebecca!”
Teacher Holly Strapulos agrees.
“Rebecca has displayed progress in the reading lab over this past year,” shares Holly. “She has always responded favorably to the structure of the [Essential Learning Systems] program, and she prefers to work in lab rather than to have earned free time! I have watched Rebecca display more maturity this year and become more willing to improve in various areas, such as handwriting and neatness, reviewing difficult lessons, and keeping up in my supplementary reading class. I applaud Rebecca for her hard work and positive attitude.”
Rebecca’s parents were thrilled to hear of Rebecca’s Who’s Who nomination. “This is wonderful news! Judd and I are very proud of Rebecca's hard work and determination. This has been a great year, and we look forward to what happens next year!”
