Madison Howle, a third-grader in Lingleville (Texas) ISD, has worked in the Essential Learning Systems (ELS) lab for two years. She has a great attitude as she works to improve her reading skills and to overcome problems associated with dyslexia.
Facilitator Elaine Carpenter shares that Madison loves to use the OpenDyslexic font in her ELS lessons. It has helped her achieve success in the lab, and that success has boosted her confidence. Madison’s newfound confidence has carried over to her work in her regular classes, too.
Way to go, Madison!
