1. I live outside the USA, what is my price for LR?
All quoted pricing is in U.S. dollars.
2. How do I download the program?
Go to the At-Home Store tab at the top of the homepage or simply click on “Download Now” in the left sidebar.
3. How many students can use each Letter Recognition?
Only one student is permitted per download. However, to ensure that families with multiple students can afford to purchase as many programs as needed, we offer the product at a very reasonable price. It’s also a great gift for grandparents to give to grandchildren … maybe even family birthday gifts.
4. When will my student be able to use LR?
You will be able to start immediately after downloading your program.
5. How long before a student finishes the program?
Several factors affect the completion date: the age of the student, prior educational skills, any learning challenges, assistance from a parent or guardian, and most importantly, the amount of time the student spends on the program each day.
6. Are there any time limits to using LR?
Once you download the program, you control the time your student is on the program. However, once you complete all of the lessons, you will not be able to start over.
7. I’m not a teacher, how do I guide my student through the program?
Although many students can proceed through much of the program on their own, your product download includes a User’s Guide that can walk you through every step of the program and help make your LR experience a successful one. However, if you struggle with a problem, we have a support team that is available via email. You can reach them by going to info@ceilearning.com or by typing your question in the space provided in Finding Answers at the bottom of this page. We strive to answer questions as rapidly as possible, but our offices are only open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CST in the USA. Therefore, it is possible that depending on when you submit your question, it might take up to 48 hours for us to respond.
8. Is Letter Recognition only available in English?
Phonemic awareness and letter recognition skills are both critical to success in learning to read and speak English. Since the purpose of LR is to apply those skills in English, we wrote the program in that language. However, LR does include an option that allows the user to hear each task’s instructions in Spanish.
9. Do I own the program?
Yes, it is yours once the download is complete. However, we do encourage you to obey all copyright laws when using the program.
10. What is your refund policy?
Like most software, CD-ROMs, DVDs, etc., all sales are final once the product is opened and used. Therefore, there are no refunds for LR downloads. However, if an issue arises due to an error on our part, we will issue you an identical, replacement product. Please email us at info@ceilearning.com, and be sure to include the name you used to purchase the product and the code assigned to your purchase.
