Student Overview

School can be stressful for everyone, but for students with learning challenges, the pressure can be overwhelming. They already feel bad about not knowing as much as their peers, and as each grade becomes more and more challenging, they fall further and further behind. Some even consider leaving school; statistics show that students with learning disabilities are around 30 percent less likely to graduate.

Schools can avoid problems like these by implementing CEI®‘s learning solutions at the earliest possible grade. All of our programs use direct instruction to present small chunks of information and then require visual, auditory, and kinesthetic responses from the student. This therapeutic approach develops the areas of the brain responsible for automatic recognition, retention, comprehension, and application of information.

We also understand that some students face multiple learning challenges, so we don’t limit our instruction to one age group or student classification. As a result, both our in-school and at-home programs have benefited students of all ages and demographics, including:

  • English Language Learner
  • Dyslexic
  • Special Education
  • Title I
  • Migrant
  • RTI
  • Regular Curriculum
